For aspiring and practicing sound healers, this gathering is designed to help you grow your confidence, expand your skills, and connect with instruments and community.
Have singing bowls but aren’t sure how to use them in a group setting?
Already working one-on-one but lacking the confidence to lead a sound bath?
Have you offered one before but struggled to fill it? This workshop is for you.
Join seasoned sound healer and businesswoman Amy Hudson for a practical, honest, and experience-based workshop on leading a sound bath. Amy will share her personal formula for structuring a session, along with insight into how she markets and promotes her work so that participants not only learn how to lead, but also how to talk about what they offer in a way that connects with your audience.
In this 3-hour gathering, we’ll explore topics such as:
• how to structure a sound bath from beginning to end
• how to work with the instruments you already have
• how to build confidence leading a group
• how to create a welcoming experience for participants
• how to describe, promote, and fill your offerings
• common mistakes newer practitioners make and how to avoid them
Event Agenda
2:00 to 2:20pm | Welcome + Introductions
We’ll begin by meeting one another, getting a feel for the experience level in the room, and naming what each person hopes to walk away with.
2:20 to 3:20pm | Amy’s Formula for Leading a Sound Bath
Amy will share the framework she personally uses to structure a sound bath, offering a practical template you can work from, whether you are just getting started or refining what you already do.
3:20 to 4:00pm | Discussion + Real-World Application
This portion of the workshop is devoted to conversation, questions, and practical support. We may reflect on past experiences, talk through challenges, and explore how to apply the material to your own circumstances, including things like low attendance, confidence, clarity, or working with the instruments you already have.
4:00 to 5:00pm | Community Instrument Exchange
We’ll close with time to browse, buy, sell, donate, and connect through our community instrument exchange in the retail shop.
Why Amy is offering this workshop
Amy believes this work calls for collaboration more than competition. Healing does not grow through “power over” dynamics. It grows through relationships, shared wisdom, and community care. As the need for sound healing continues to grow, she knows one person cannot meet that need alone. She regularly receives requests she cannot fulfill, which is part of why she feels called to teach. This workshop is for those who feel ready to step into this role with humility, confidence, and a genuine desire to serve. The need is real, and our communities benefit when more people are equipped to offer this work well.
Following the workshop, attendees are invited to stay for a Community Instrument Exchange inside the retail shop at The Sound Healing Center of Lexington.
This exchange is a space for sound healers to buy, sell, donate, and discover instruments within the community. Whether you are looking for your first bowl, ready to rehome an instrument you no longer use, or hoping to expand your collection, this is an opportunity to connect with instruments in person and meet others who are on a similar path.
The intention is to create a gathering place where sound healers can learn, connect, and find the instruments that support their work.
Community Instrument Exchange: What to Bring
You are not required to purchase or bring instruments for this class. However, if you have sound healing instruments you’d like to bring to sell, donate, or share, you are welcome to do so.
Please bring only items related to sound healing or meditation, such as singing bowls, chimes, drums, rattles, tuning forks, gongs, mallets, or similar tools. We ask that all items be clean, functional, and in good condition.
If you plan to sell an item, please label it with your name and asking price. If you are donating an item, please mark it clearly as a donation. You are welcome to bring a small, manageable selection rather than a large volume of instruments.
Any sales made during the exchange are arranged directly between attendees, so bringing cash or a payment app is recommended. Please handle all instruments with care and ask before playing or examining someone else’s item. You are responsible for your own items throughout the event.
Even if you are not bringing anything, you are still welcome to browse, listen, learn, and connect.
