Friday the 13th has long been misunderstood, but its origins trace back to the sacred feminine. Long before it was labeled unlucky, this day was associated with the cycles of the moon, the power of intuition, and the rites held by women who were connected to their own truth. We chose this date intentionally as a way to honor what has been silenced, dismissed, or pushed down for generations. This ceremony is an invitation to reclaim that voice and give shape to emotions that deserve space, especially rage, which so many women have been taught to swallow.
Join Amy Hudson and Lynna Nguyen of Creatures of Whim for a two-hour Rage Ritual designed to help you name what you are done carrying and release it with clarity and strength. We begin in an opening circle where you can settle into the space and set your intention for the night. From there, you will be guided through candle spellwork and will choose the focus that resonates most with your current chapter: uncrossing, road opening, banishing and protection, or cord cutting.
As your candle completes its work, you will be invited to break the plate that held it, allowing the physical act to mirror the internal shift. This part of the ritual is powerful, cathartic, and deeply grounding. When everyone has released what needed to be released, we gather again for breathwork to steady the body and a sound bath to clear, soothe, and restore.
If you are craving a place to let your truth be loud, to release something old, and to step back into yourself with honesty and strength, this evening is for you.
